One of the books that I got myself for Christmas was Nick Redfern's 'Memoirs of a Monster Hunter; A Five-Year Journey in Search of the Unknown'. It was the night before Christmas Eve and this book actually wasn't on my shopping list that day, I was searching for some other books, but the title jumped out at me and when I saw the name of the author I immediately snatched it up so that no one else could buy it.
Review of 'The Canadian UFO Report'
One of the books that I've been meaning to read for awhile was 'The Canadian UFO Report, The Best Cases Revealed', by Chris Rutkowski and Geoff Dittman. I say, 'was' because, I've finally read it.
The Strangeness of the Easter Island Statues
One of the things that has always puzzled and intrigued me is the Easter Island statues, or moai as they're known. I've always wanted to see these stone statues up close for myself. Unfortunately its unlikely that I'll be going to Easter Island (Rapa Nui), any time soon. However, when I was in London last year, I did get the chance to see one of these strange and magnificent statues at the British Museum.

Strange Tourist Attraction: Bodmin Jail
One of the things that I like to do when I'm on vacation is to check out strange tourist attractions. Last year, (Sept. 2006) when I was in England I decided to check out Bodmin Jail or Bodmin Gaol as it used to be known as. I was in Cornwall anyway so I thought that it would be neat to check out. One of the reasons that I was keen to check out Bodmin Jail was because I had seen it featured on an episode of Most Haunted.
