I've been meaning to go on one of those Ghostly Walks that John Adams and his tour company do here in Victoria. Oddly enough, although I've lived in Victoria, most of my life I just haven't got around to it. However, I did recently pick up a copy of his book, Ghosts & Legends of Bastion Square.

Moscow/Bologna/Halle. -- The Tunguska catastrophe in 1908 evidently led to high levels of acid rain. This is the conclusion reached by Russian, Italian and German researchers based on the results of analyses of peat profiles taken from the disaster region.
